The Ants Inside Are Full of Flowers

The Ants inside are Full of Flowers is a 50-minute work of music and dance for an ensemble of 9 dancers and 5 musicians, created in 2017-18 in London in collaboration with the composer Rotem Sherman (Israel).

This delicate work revels small nuances of feelings, by combining contemporary dance with cross-genre sound worlds of songwriting, electronic and chamber music. The dancers and musicians invite the audience to join them on a personal journey, in which they share their inner emotional voices, while exploring it together as a group.

This work was a starting point for establishing our all-female dance collective Mass Hysteria (for more information click here).

We've worn garments by Alice Firman (alumna of Royal College of Art, London).
